Question on a slide during the show you had 400 amp panel with 600mcm could that have been 500mcm?
Greetings Dan,
In the example shown it didn’t take any of the exceptions in 230.90 into account. The effort of the example was to simply show sizing of GEC’s and the GES. It was not to convey anything else. However, there are indeed some exceptions in 230.90 that would allow a 380A rated 500 kcmil to terminate onto a 400A rated device per 240.4(B). But it is exciting to see folks like yourself VERY focused on the video….that is awesome!
